Raise the awareness of gender specific mental health issues for women, funding research and programs that can be implemented to achieve optimal health outcomes for women.
What is Liptember?
- A month long campaign run in September every year to raise awareness and funds for
women’s health.
- Encourage women to buy and wear the ‘Liptember’ lippy in the month of September,
gaining sponsorship from family, friends and co workers.
- Funds raised will be donated to the Centre for Women’s Mental Health and Lifeline Australia
- Raising money through, lippy sales, female sponsorship, corporate sponsorship, fundraising
events and direct donations.

Our priority is to improve the health of all Australian women who take on a myriad of responsibilities as mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, wives and partners............ thus to improve the health of all Australian women will help to improve the health of the whole community.
Liptember have formed an important partnership with health beneficiaries the CENTRE FOR WOMEN’S MENTAL HEALTH, who provide national research and programs for gender specific mental health issues for women and LIFELINE AUSTRALIA, a 24 hour crisis support service connecting Australians with trained volunteers who can provide emotional support to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
The Liptember concept and strategy provides a gateway for much needed research on the lifestyle choices and health issues of Australian Women.
